Gotta say Sanchez looks very impressive again. Really think he’s the real deal. Calm under pressure, good with feet, confident hands and composed presence.

Hope it goes well for the lad and he gets a run in the side now.

Solid enough defensively, the lads will be pleased with that.

Just need a bit of magic the other end.

Well neither team were great there. Good save by Sanchez which Ryan would've missed. Golden chance for Welbeck should be taking them

The Premier League is just so tough. This is probably one of the most gifted Albion squads we’ve ever seen and yet, at this level, we are just ordinary. Sad fact.

I don’t think it’s all that fair to expect Bloom to sink £30-40 million into a striker when he’s already down to the tune of £250,000,000 or so. As tough as it is to watch us labour each year, I’d rather that than see us bet the farm, fall through the trap door and keep on falling. If we do drop this year it’s reasonable to expect us to be competitive the next. I’d take that, as I want to be watching BHAFC for another 40 odd years if I’m lucky.

Getting a bit sick of finishing below Palace though.

Lots of good pressing by both sides...distinct lack of quality. Trossard, Alzate, Lallana all look off the pace. Welbeck and Lamptey seem tired lots of players to freshen this up off the bench. Scrappy win on the cards...

I actually thought it was one of the most enjoyable halves I've seen this season. Not pretty, but two teams trying desperately to work each other out. Albion played very well. The question was creating the opportunities to bring it our way. It was never going to be flowing tonight.

Haven't let them play though and they have looked good lately

Solid, decent half. Working really hard and pressing excellently and look much more likely to create something that Fulham. So much better with Alzate in with Bissouma who again, has been absolutely outstanding.

Can’t work out what is wrong with Trossard though, awful half.

We've played a lot worse than this. It's tense, which has made it quite watchable. As the game stretches it could become very interesting.

Players look so nervous and shot of confidence- lack of quality is obvious. Lallana can’t cross pass or run tonight. Trossard lazy and can’t keep the ball. Wellbeck still thinking about that Leicester miss. Dunk only slight improvement. Webster usual dross. Solly back to forgetting how to cross or pass the ball.

I don't think we've been shit.

It's been a shit game for sure, but we're doing the right thing in being cautious. What's the point in playing open expansive football if you keep cocking it up and getting punished.
