Biss is so good isn't he? It doesn't really matter what is going on in the game- who is playing, who we are playing, how we are playing, he is just the best player on the pitch. It's like it's all just become very easy for him. He could play for anyone.

I hope you’re right.

We’ve been terrible in terms of giving the ball away and randomly hitting the ball up to no one. Pretty horrible to watch. Fulham are out muscling us most of the time.

Our throw ins = advantage Fulham. If I were them I would keep kicking the ball out of play to gain more goal scoring opportunities

Part of the ‘rotation’ has been forced by unhelpful injuries - Lallana and Maupay most recently, both of whom would have probably started most if not all games if 100%.

Under Houllier rather than as a player
I perhaps misinterpreted his words
But the point s still valid If a player of Rush s calibre
Can still improve his game by coaching
After a rather successful career as a striker

Yeah it's amazing.

When you hear that kind of thing you just can't help but think 'how hard can it be to get some one in'?
Houllier was obviously a world class coach and manager, but there's gotta be people around who can come in for a day or two a week and focus on finishing, or set pieces or whatever? And why wouldn't teams do that? Maybe they do, you sometimes hear about ex pro strikers 'helping out' at clubs.

For me, Murray coming back is going to be good in terms of this- if we can keep him out of the TV studios long enough (really begining to look natural in front of the camera, by the way).

Me too - it's hilarious how every time someone is left out for a game, or even a run of games they have either had a 'bust up' or are 'on their way'...........

Yes, funny and true. We had so little movement among the players, no guile, it was like watching my son's under 11s take throw ins.
