What a shocking season Fulham have had: 3 managers 12 new signings and £100 million spent. Every player bar Mitrovic has been a disappointment. Cairney's season has been like Knockaerts last season, while Sessegnon has been disappointing. I fully expect one of the North London clubs to throw him a lifeline.

Cardiff got a couple of shock wins on the back if the Emiliano plane crash where fans and players were possibly sub consciously galvanised by that tragic event. Without those wins they would be almost gone by now. I don't see them as being capable of getting the 9 points they probably need to stay up

The worst thing about Fulham going down is that Craven Cottage is one of the best away grounds to visit. Lovely location, locals reasonably friendly, and our record (aside from this season's second half) is quite good. But as others have said, they have written the book on how not to handle promotion to the top division.
Their players? Well I'm not sure I'd want Mitrovic, too similar to Andone and he'll have suitors prepared to pay a lot higher wages than we will. Sessegnon is off the table for us, Cairney is quality in the Championship but hasn't pulled up any trees at this level and the rest have been gubbins.
As for the final place, we could go down but it will take an extraordinary sequence of results really. We'd have to lose at home AND Cardiff would need to win 2 or 3 of their other six pointers.
That said, I'd feel a lot more confident about our safety if Cardiff had some Latin manager installed as opposed to an angry, dour, officiating-hypocrite like Colin Wanker who has absolutely owned us down the years unfortunately. If anyone can keep them up, he can, and we have been rubbish for months now with results over PaLLace, Huddersfield and Millwall papering over the alarming cracks that are apparent to us all.

Mitro, definitely, if we can get him. Despite Fulham's woeful performances, team structure and defending in the PL, whenever I've seen him, I've been impressed with Chambers. Ticks lots of boxes: rival for Stephens' role; HGP; versatile, can play CB, RB as well as DCM; good age, experience

More people going on about signing Mitrovic why we are in The Premier not The Championship. Most of his goals have come against us.
This, Micky Adams mk 1 basically bought a load of players who had been promoted from the 4th division before, result promotion from the 4th division. Cannot see any reason why purchasing a bunch of serial failures is a good idea.
Calum Chambers for example already has two relegations on his CV. Mitrovic does too.
