Did you have a band around your head, a strip of bullets over your shoulder, sweating torso, and screaming like a maniac while applying this spray?

If you're going back to B&Q, they do a nice line in wasp-anihilating flamer-throwers, and anti-striped insect grenades, I believe.

you got me sussed fella!

i was larging it up, opening the door slighlty, peering thro the gap...then spraying loads through the gap as i opened it and did an army roll onto the patio whilst coming under fire...then stood firm and sprayed the little fuckers some more til all the guv'nors came out then shot back in the house...waited 4 minutes and re-did the whole routine!

'appy days!!

I always found this is the best way to burn your house down. I'd love to see the excuse on the insurance claim......

paid £4 via ebay incl p&p.

So, so far you've paid £4 and risked getting stung just to make them angry, and now you're going to blow another £4 before ultimately admitting defeat and calling the pros in!

Don't you wish you'd just paid the £44 a week ago?

If you live in Brighton and Hove, a slight problem with getting the council Pest Control service to deal with wasps

"20 June 2007. Please Note: Due to operational reasons beyond our control, we are not in a position to offer services for wasp nest treatments until further notice."

"Wasps and Fleas
Wasps are not a threat to public health, but can be a nuisance, particularly because they sting. Pest control officers can, if necessary, destroy wasp colonies, although it is not always possible to remove the nest. Old nests are never inhabited the following year. Fleas thrive in warm weather but do not always need treatment by a pest control officer. Telephone (01273) 292170 and we will send you information on treatments and precautionary pre-treatment measures.

Although we can't offer treatments for every type of pest our senior officer can give advice free of charge. If you need to discuss pest control matters telephone (01273) 292170."

Unless you got the queen then the problem is still there and in all liklihood you didn't because she stays right up inside the nest. I had a wasps nest outside the window in my office and had to get rentokil out to kill the little buggers. He came and forced some kind of white foam spray right up into the nest. Don't want to worry you but there were hundreds of them in there. Rentoikil guy wasn't happy until he knew the queen was gone and then happy days - problem eradicated. Saw the queen when she eventally dropped out and boy was she big.:eek::eek:

hmmm, i am worries now. my wife has just rang to say they are proper f***ed off now after lasts night's ambush on them!

they seem to be getting in steadily through the skirting board in the kitchen...this is worrying as it means they have got under the fascia above the door...on top of the brings, and down the cavity!! f***!

so far we killed about 30 odd last night, another 30 dead this morning and 10 found in the kitchen.

f***ing nightmare - prob wont bother with another can of spray....

In my computer
Some good friends of ours had a nightmare with the blighters! After they moved in they could hear a constant buzzing in the chinmey ands surrounding wall.....on the wall outside they saw the little shysters coming in and out of a hole in the back of the chimney breast by the dozens...

Pest people came out and at first thought they were just in the chimney but turns out the chimney was an old nest and they had a 2 ft tall nest in the cavity of the wall beside it...long story short they had to move out for a few days whilst the living room and any holes were sealed, gas pumped in and then left a day and then they had to drill a hole about 1ft wide in the living room wall to remove the nest and the millions of dead wasps which would have created a rotting stink!! The pest control men took photos and if I hadn't seen it I wouldn't have believed it...

Luckily they were going to redecorate anyhow...

thank f*** i can confirm all the little jam roles have gone!

a blast of "ficam d" from the wasp man f***ed them right up!! :)

we had about 100 die when i used my own little wasp spay, then about 25 in the house the next day that we killed, follwed by another 100 or so dead after the wasp man..... so my initial guess that we had 20 wasps was a tad off!!!!!

thanx for all the advice though! :D
