Try poking a broom stick into the nest and catapult it "cartoon style", hopefully with hilarious results as the swarm chase you down the street and sting your bottom!

They are the most pointless creatures on earth.

Most animals have some purpose: they produce stuff (milk, wool, fur, kebabs), they are cute and cuddly, they make good pets, they get rid of lesser creatures, or they're just amusing to look at.

Take bees, they sting, but they also make honey. And wax. Which have their uses.
And they're quite furry and appealing in a certain light.

But wasps? Angry, stingy and meaningless. An utter waste of space.

They are responsible for pollinating some flowers, and also predate some insect pests, so not TOTALLY pointless.

But yes they are nasty little bastards.

so on balance, possibly not as pointless as recruitment consultants then.

See, bumblebees are interesting and everything, with their buzzing and their pollenation and flying from flower to flower stuff, and their mucus discharge - honey - is lovely. What other creature's lump-laden greenies what you actually like to EAT?

Wasps, on the other hand, are just ****s.

On the terraces!!
right - last night i went out there with a mag light and a full can of rentokil wasp killer........spray the fuckers and ran in quickly as they are gathered above the back door!!

had a look and a few of them started choking and dropping out the hole....eventually opened up the whole can of whoop ass on them and so far we've had about 35 drop out and die on the floor, plus about another 15 visably dead in the whole about to drop out.

there is still a few flying around this morning so not sure if i have got to the nest or not as i cant see it.

also found 4 wasps in the kitchen today which is a tad worrying!!

gonna get another can today - if they are still there at the wkend mr wasp man is gonna have to strut his stuff me thinks!!

horrible little kunts!

Did you have a band around your head, a strip of bullets over your shoulder, sweating torso, and screaming like a maniac while applying this spray?

If you're going back to B&Q, they do a nice line in wasp-anihilating flamer-throwers, and anti-striped insect grenades, I believe.
