On the terraces!!
for some reason a bunch of arsehole wasps have decided to build a small nest under the fascia above my back door.

theres loads of the little wankers now -

i am too tight to pay £44 for pest control.

can any1 suggest a good spray?

Ficam D is the nuts but you have to be a "professional pest controler" to buy it!!

Way out west
I have some in the roof above my bathroom, can see the little buggers going in and out as I type this, there seem to be plenty of them. Unfortunately it is in a part of the roof that I have absolutely no access to, so short of me leaning out of the bathroom window and trying to spray something into the entrance there isn't much I can do...guess they will go away when they get bored.

You shouldn't really have your computer in the bathroom. Its very dangerous.

Try a private pest control firm and ask them for a quote. Then, when you've picked yourself up off the floor, ring the council and pay them £44!

Is CORRECT

Small wasp nests soon grow into great big f***-off wasp nests and £44 is a small price to pay to avoid that.

Bayer sell an aerosol can in France that has a blast of epic proportions, if you wait until the little buggers are asleep (once it's dark) and whack their nest with a 5 second spray they literally drop out of the nest, wriggle a bit and drop dead. It works really well, I managed to kill more than a 100 in one 5 second blast last year.

There must be something equivalent in the UK

I have a huge bees (skinny wasp like bees as opposed to big UK country garden bumbles) nest hanging from one of the tree branches outside my bedroom window. I've sort of watched it grow for the last few months. They just cling on to the nest and do nothing for most of the day but some are hard at it some of the time.

Quite fascinating and relaxing watching the little blighters up close but i am hoping that the queen will bugger off and all the thousand or so followers will follow her leaving me with some homemade honey and beeswax polish.
