I have seen this mentioned on ask the club and after finding out it will cost me around 70 quid including 1 ticket would most NSC folk take up the offer?

This potentially could be a staying up/relegation deciding game but only a small number of fans have the money to get there. I will phone in after the game on saturday and hopefully they will have Dick Knight on at Harty's request and see what his reaction is.

So would everyone take the offer up and brave the 5 hour journey?

Absolutely! We're making a weekend of it and driving up, but free travel's too good to turn down, surely?!

I'm forking out £27.40 for my return ticket. If the game is paramount to us staying up then the club should lay on free coaches , the cost of 20 coaches departing from all around Sussex could save the Albion thousands of £££'s in the long run if it helps to motivate the players with a massive away following and secures us 3 points.

There is a website somewhere but i can't remember what it is called. There are price categories and i think it goes to about G which is Carlisle and that was 50 quid so expect it's around the 40 quid mark?

:eek::eek::eek:

I think not! I paid £35 to go to Hartlepool on a half full Tuesday night trip!:lolol:

Ed, if you cant get on a coach, I will have space in the car

Will you be in the home or away end mate? Never been there before but hopefully it hasn't got a walk as big as the one we did around the MK stadium. Looks like i will be forking out the 70 odd quid if there is no free travel.

I can't honestly believe what a load of cock and bull this thread is! Why would the directors dig into their pockets to fund the travel of away fans who would probably, in the main, already be going to the game anyway. Especially as it is not like we need 2000 fans at Huddersfield to motivate the team bearing in mind our away form is superior to our home form. If you were a betting man, and I'm sure there are many on here that are, you would bet we are more likely to win the two away games than the two home ones. On that basis, the club should do what they can to fill Withdean and try and pick up the wins there. End of the day, it doesn't affect me as I can't get to away games and as a sth have already paid for the home ones.
