I don't understand your obsession of slagging off Fraser. Take no notice of WW the idiot, saintvaliant.

Your new captain Fraser will set your team alight. He is a grafter who expects his team-mates to give what he does every match, 100%. There is a lot more to his game than sheer endeavour too. He needed to get out of his home town to progress his career, and to show the quality that he possesses. Your team will reap the benefits.

Hinsh, if he accepts Vale's contract, is another quality player. He has had horrendous injuries that would have made most players quit. He is over them now. Once he has undergone Micky's pre-season training, and he becomes match fit you will have one of the best players in your league for free.

Word

If Hinsh comes back half the player he was he will be the best player in that league my a mile

I heard from somebody within the club that Fraser was offered a new contract but things were being held up due to the Bloom takeover, Fraser allegedly confronted Slade by throwing furniture in his direction, the contract offer was then taken away !
The story i'd heard varies in that he was told he wasn't getting a new contract, he reacted to this by going ballistic then throwing a chair at RS & DK which missed so had another go which missed as well and had to be "calmed down" by 2/3 others, the thing is that before he went off on one, he would have been told he would be offered another year if RS couldn't get in his targeted midfielders.

Good luck to Tommy , at least he hasn't besmirched himself by signing for Palace.

that was NEVER going to happen was it - not good enough for us, certainly not good enough for palace

lets just hope adams is better in the transfer market for them than he was for us - i cant think of one player he signed that made a difference last year and played a part in keeping us up

those stories about furniture are f***ing QUALITY

I'm delighted Fraser has found himself a new club, it's great news. I hope news on Hinshelwood and Loft follows now aswell.

According to their forum, One Vale Fan, Jarrett (Jason that is, not Albert) is also set to join at Vale Park.

all finding their level then.....

In all seriousness it's the beginnings of a potential promotion squad if he could find a striker.

I know. How about Dixon!

Out of him, Loft and Hinsh I would consider Fraser the best signing. Good in possession, good tackler and a good influence on those around him. Will be an excellent player in League Two.

.

Interesting choice of words. If you believe what others have written, his 'influence on those around him' [OFF the pitch] is one of the reasons for him leaving....

Hinsh is of course a good player, but has failed to convince since his latest return. Fraser will do well in L2. We all know he's limited, but solid enough. I think Loft could do really well in the right side, with a long run of games.

Not convinced Adams has it in him to get the best out of anyone, anymore though.

From what is in the Argus today it seems the chair was aimed at Dick Tight and shame he missed him

IF its in the slightest bit true, would have loved to be a fly on the wall, poor old Dick must have thought his number was up

Well done Tommy. I thought you deserved another year. Good luck in proving Knight wrong.

Why do you assume that this criticism of the club was not bitterness? If he wanted to prove us wrong he should have signed for a club in the same league as us. I had hoped that all the released players go on to succeed but am really annoyed by this outburst and am not so bothered about Fraser now. What was the point of it? Why not keep quiet?

I should think the point of his outburst was so people in sussex and in fact anybody who reads the argus either on line or by buying the paper, could see how the club was being run, and perhaps Dick Knight is not as good as most people on here think, why should he keep quiet if he feels the club shit on him
