You are actually retarded, arn't you?

wonderful quote and so much better for being so appropriate

Good luck to Fraser - he should do ok in League 2

Palace? ha ha

Would not have been surprised to see Hinsh going to Port Vale too and suspect he would have been contacted at the same time so suspect he may have offers to choose from. Certainly hope so as he is a far superior player.

An interesting quote by Tom - He said: "I know the manager of course as I was down there at Brighton when he was in charge, and he got in touch with me right away when he was appointed as manager here."

2 things strike me - firstly as he demonstrated here by bringing in loads of his 'old' players, MA relies heavily on people he has worked with - whether or not he actually thought they were any good. As has already been pointed out and as Tom said himself, he had to watch while every Tom, Dick & Harry was loaned or played out of position while he watched on in frustration?

Secondly - so why does a player who didn't seem to be appreciated by his ex manager want to go and 'play' for him now - curious?

Especially when he has 2 other offers!

My guess would be that the others were not willing to offer him the same length of contract or the same money.

Or, Tommy likes to be cuddled.

The very best of luck to him. I was quite surprised when he was released as I assumed that those who had kept us up would be offered new terms. But it was the right decision and shows intent.

I'm not worried, yet, about the lack of transfer activity so far. I am a little concerned that we will miss Dick Knight's excellent persuasive and negotiating skills in the transfer market. He was widely acknowledged to be one of the best in that respect.

Good player. I'm surprised he hasn't been snapped up by a League One club, but he will do well for Port Vale. Hopefully Adams will play him regularly in centre midfield.

I think Adams is right when he says our loss is their gain.

He would literally play anyone in centre midfield that wasnt Tommy Fraser, and that list includes Adam Virgo, Adam El Abd and Matt Richards. Strange signing, especially with all the praise he heaps on him in that article.

In fairness, he's hardly likely to introduce his new signing to the Port Vale fans by saying 'He's got a good attitude, handles the ball well BUT I'M f***ed IF I'M PLAYING HIM IN THE CENTRE, HE'S RUBBISH THERE' is he?

We've already had the 'Fraser may be limited but his commitment and effort could never, ever be even remotely questioned' type discussion here, so I hope he does well there.
