How ironic that on the same day this thread was started Ryan makes arguably the greatest save in Brighton's history.
You've forgotten the Moseley save at the Godstone that was compared to "that save" by Gordon Banks.

I guess we now all need to get after Lamptey.

Clearly not good enough.
Get rid.
League One at best.

Yes. Had we lost tonight then Numpty would have been a more than fitting scapegoat. From prospect to suspect in 90 minutes.

A great shame for the NSC miserabilists that Maty’s fingertip spoiled their evening.

Ah but then Maty would have been the worst player in the history of the club because of his finger tips.

Brighton / Hove actually
So is Walton not making the cut and has found his level in the Championship? Or does it take longer for a goalkeeper to learn their craft? It's not a very forgiving position.

Is he still part of our plans?

Definitely up there but two immediately spring to mind as better. I was at both games and haven’t seen the saves again on replay so perhaps not fair to judge but Kuipers pulled off a miracle save from a Wayne Allinson header away at Prenton Park in 2001 and Ben Roberts not sure who’s header but it was Valley Parade in 2003.

I remember the Ben Roberts one and think Maty’s was better - indeed the best for us. Still would like to sign genuine competition for him next season though, the current lads are not pushing him enough

From the 5-6 Blackburn games I've seen I don't think he could compete with Ryan. Probably better to sell him to some Championship club, perhaps Ashworth could be nice to him though and try to find something less shit than Blackburn.

Still more part of the plans than Fraser Forster every will be though.

I take it I'm not the only one who's woken up and is still laughing about this thread, the stupidity of the OP and those taken in by his agenda.

It's so nice to see someone else hoisted by his their own petard for a change. :lolol:
(I'm sure I'll be back in the hot seat soon)

Blackburn Forum not that positive.....

I'm sure I remember reading from one of their fans that we should be "embarrassed" to have paid £4 million for Shane Duffy.
