Heh, good one.

if muslims where killing animals for sports, the same thing would happen!

Its not based on sport otherwise why isn't fishing included?

The main Anti's arguement is cruelty(it aint, poisons cruel), the real reason is toff bashing.

So why not ban hallal?

I get cautioned for smoking weed, a rastafarian wouldn't. Go figure.

The slaughtering of animals in accordance with religious belief, while it may be considered cruel by some, is not carried out for the express purpose of entertainment.

So what your saying here is you hate seeing people you dont like enjoying themselves. Its either cruel or it isn't, or are you advocating regulation of emotions?

Anyway is for instance the slaughtering of an animal by cutting it's throat any more cruel than hanging it upside down on a conveyer, partially stunning it and then feeding it through an automatic decapitation machine.

Well yes that is just as cruel but is it necerssary?

I think raising the subject of halal says more about your prejudices (why not pick on kosher butchery) than any liberal hypocracy.

I chose Halal as it was more Saliant, but I could have added Kosher and yess Kosher also applies. If I had said Kosher would you accuse me of being an Antisemite? do examples have to be exaustive.
The fact you think I am being prejudiced as you insinuate must reflect your emotional state as there is no evidence in my posts of it.

Didn't think it would take long for you lot to start aiming below the belt as you lefties are losing this arguement badley.

Oh and Quivering lipped lefties, try to distinguish between Intellectually dirty arguements and Yahboo politics.:lolol:

Another "blinkered half-wit" here, I agree with Looney. A few foxes getting killed, big deal, they're not much more than vermin anyway. It's a token gesture to appease the city dwellers who read too many newspapers, and win a few votes at the same time.

I would back a new blood sport:
The hunting with dogs and guns of chinless aristocratic leeches.

ABSOLUTELY right Looney!

But not just class hatred .... a real and well-founded personal hatred of royalty and aristocracy and all they stand for.

I simply cannot believe that anyone is responding to this bloke's provocations. Why? Haven't you heard of the "ignore" list feature?

What evidence do you have for that generalisation? The law on canabis possesion is still a complete mess, but I don't think Rastafarians have a legal right to smoke ganja just yet:smokin:

Beagles and foxes are both wonderful creatures.
It's the mindless gits in their pinks and gin and tonics that think it's fun to train one animal to chase and tear another apart.
Then set up a whole rural economy to depend on this bloody act they try to palm off as a country sport!
Foxes are NOT vermin, but an integral part of the diminishing wildlife of our island.

NB: I once knew an estate man in North Yorkshire who kept a vixen and a border collie. They would play with each other and even sleep in the same kennel!

They claim a religious right in court and get let off without question.

I would provide evidence but I haven't got any.

Foxes ARE Vermin, ditto Pidgeons rats etc.

Probably palace fans to but I don't want to go off topic to much.

Ive seen a fox go past my bedroom Window with a songbird in its mouth twice this year. The local retards keep feeding them to artificially sustain their numbers, they spread disease. They are bad news.

Looney,

What I was trying to point out is that there is a significant difference between fox hunting and halal meat. One is a religious practice the other a recreational pastime. Your attempt to muddy the argument by dragging in an unrelated topic is typical of your style of argument. I bet at school when you get told off you defence is always " but Jenkins did it too sir"

Honestly, the twat needle on this thread has hit critical.

So much uninformed, ignorant, intolerant bollocks on this thread I don't know where to start replying. Time to start slapping the ignore button like it's a ginger stepchild.

I think you are wrong there... very few songbirds spread disease.
Certain diseases and infections such as salmonella, botulism, meningitis and hepatitis have been known to be spread by pigeons, seagulls and starlings however ... but they are hardly songbirds

There is not a significant difference. Religious practice is only one person's belief about what is acceptable beahviour.

So, and correct me if I've misinterpreted you here, but living your life by the rules set down by the man you believe to be the prophet of god is the same as beleiving it's ok to hunt an animal with dog's because you enjoy it.
