Without Dhoni that would have been double figures. Tremendous bowling from Broad. Now let's see if Cook's rejuvenation continues..........

Good toss to lose :lolol:

Fact is, it hasn't done that much since lunch. England should be able to get a decent score on this, just see off the new ball then make hay once it goes soft.

Amazing scenes, lets hope the defeat by India at Lords was our low watermark.

Equal world record SIX DUCKS in a Test innings.

Robson needs to get his head down and make a score here.

I do wish these Sky commentators would stop giving opposing teams hints on how to get England batsmen out. Nasser going on about Cook is lunging forward so suggesting India try a few short balls at him. Okay, so the Indians may well have thought of that already, but in case they hadn't......

OI. NASSER. SHUT IT!

Poor shot choice under pressure from Captain Cook :nono:

Top edge pull to new boy Varun Aaron, flies to deep backward square.

36-2

Cook out hooking….

Not really the right moment to be honest. 13 overs in, scoring at a reasonable rate anyway. He knows what the pitch is doing. Really don't know why he feels he has to go after that. Fielder didn't have to move a muscle. Gift of a wicket.

Bell goes for a hook first ball…..then beaten 2nd ball.

Come on guys, show some resilience here.

England need to use some brain here. Just GRIND it out, for 100 overs. Game in the bag. No need to go trying to put them to the sword.

And if they really DO feel the need to give away their wickets, could they be sure to give them to Kumar, who I have money on to be top India wicket taker. Cheers.
