When I was young and in my prime and was able to go to nightclubs without falling asleep I saw Phil Lynott one night chasing the woman and totally but totally spaced out.

Was acting dreadfully but I suppose he was no different then to the "stars" of today and their wild nights out.

I never liked TL as a group but do like a couple of their songs especially the Irish Football Team Anthem "the boys are back in town"

Must have seen them about half a dozen times, truly the Rock 'n Roll Bands' Band.
I remember seeing a photo of Sid Vicious looking at Phil Lynott in the NME and the caption read 'Sid Vicious, wondering if he'll every look that wasted, that Rock 'n Roll'. Sadly (for one anyway) they're not here now.

I saw them around the time they had a hit with 'Whisky In The Jar'. Wasn't overly impressed really. The 'rockin' stuff they came out with later, was absolute shite (imho)

Nah, as a rockin' concern they were a good reason for punk to come along.
