The Cheeky Girls, followed by Chesney Hawkes. Hawkes was class. The Cheeky Girls got hit by a barrage of plastic pint glasses.

Our Summer Ball has yet to be announced as such, but I expect something to be put on. Went to see Rizzle Kicks earlier this year at O2 Academy, thought they were absolutely awful, have seen people like Miss Dynamite, Sub Focus, Red Light, Loic Essien, Skrillex and so on all of whom were a good night out, only about £5/6 a ticket usually too. Best night thus far was Jaguar Skills though, absolutely brilliant, and he even threw in a remix of old England football songs. Result.

Sussex Uni had The Who for a residency every fortnight

Oh- and The John Peel Roadshow with live music from Serious Drinking who had a semi hit with The Revolution Starts At Closing Time which in those days it did- what with it being Eleven o clock and Ten thirty on a Sunday

Durham Uni had some rapper (Titchy Stryder [sic?]) headlining their Ball at the start of last term. I didn't go in the end.

My daughter (an albion fan) is at Durham. Van Mildert. She got some strange looks supporting the albion in her college bar for the Newcastle game.
