Anything good out there at the moment?
The only thing I've got in the bookcase to read is Steven Gerrard's autobiography. Now, I've got little interest in him, and will only turn to it if i can't find anything else. But I'm growing a bit tired of footballers autobiographies - they're all sort of the same aren't they? I've just finished reading Ryan Giggs' attempt, and although it's ok because i find the footballer quite interesting, there isn't really much in there that everyone doesn't know already.
So is there anything out there 'a bit different' that can be recommended? Or can anyone review Gerrard's book? Or are there any suggestions of good autobiographies to read?
Similarly, is there anything Albion related I might have missed? I read 'A few good men' after Christmas, which is actually bloody good - particularly seeing as I don't really have any knowledge of 90% of the players! I've got both Gary Nelson books, which are fairly decent, but i'm not sure if there's much else out there. Gordon Smith, Alan Mullery, Phil Stant - any of these worth a go?
Many thanks if you can help!
