I can still feel the taste of the sawdust pie I part ate at Selhurst 10 years ago. It's going to be a while before I eat at an away ground again.

Deep frying everything is more of a Glasgow thing. They are rather more upmarket in Edinburgh.
Well, I saw my first deep fried slice of Pizza in an Edinburgh Chippy.

Shortly after followed by the Second Course (deep fried Mars Bar).

And no, the punter was not a contender for Slimmer of the Year...

That's an unusual way of serving it, don't they put both halves of the bun together before they eat it in South Yorkshire.
I suspect what’s happened there is, they’ve removed the bottom of the bun in order to take an effective picture, showing the state of the meat and the generally unappealing look of the burger.

Had a pretty sub standard Chicken and Balti Pie at Tranmere the other week. Stale and soggy pastry didn’t help. Particularly stupid as there is an excellent bakery opposite the ground and also our favourite fish and chip shop just along the road.

I like a beer but at those prices I'd pass. What's the price of a match ticket?
I was at Whitecaps v LAFC last week, the cheapest tickets were $42.50 behind the goal (£25), in the corners was $50 (£30), but the middle sections on both sides were $80-$100 (£47-£60).

MLS attendances in Vancouver are pretty poor, so the tickets aren't that bad but they make up for it with extortionate food and drink prices.
