I'm determined to get up to see my Scottish team Montrose Nil play at home one day. Montrose Nil because "nil" is the amount of goals they traditionally score.Things have come a long way from ye olde Scottish football food vendors of my youth. I can still recall their plaintive street cries to this day:
'Get yer macaroon bars!
Yer spearmint chewing gum!'
Good food if you've just got out of prison maybe.View attachment 160212

Not non league but the burgers at Burton Albion were delicious a few years ago. Lots of meat, and hardly any cereal.Oooo l do like a mushy pea, but what is that served with, surely not just bread?

They were about £8. Absolute shite. Cheap sausage, dry roll, bit of squeezy mustard and a thimbleful of onions. RUBBISH !Loved the giant hotdogs from the Wembley concourses.
Now each of those ingredients sound very tasty on their own . . . but all together? Too much of a flavour clash for my liking. The Stoke Stack - Beef patty, chicken, pulled pork and cheese at Basingstoke Town FC.

Non League is where it’s at!Agreed.
Have you tried the Amex equivalent though? whilst a bit cheaper all of the above applies, and not an onion in sight either.
Let's face it, footie ground food, nine times out of ten, is all overpriced and tasteless.
It is indeed.Non League is where it’s at!
