Personally think snails look fantastic too, once they're cooked at any rate. I love those little steel dishes with the clamp-like implement for holding the shell while you stick the little fork in through the pool of garlic butter and winkle the snail out.

Just wish I could pluck up the courage to go out and harvest some of my own. Saw Gordon Ramsey do it on telly a few years ago, apparently you have to purge them by feeding them carrot. When they start pooing orange, they're ready.

No mention for oysters yet? With a drop of tabasco?

Squid tentacles with the plungers are always SCARY but delighful

That's the only thing to date that's made me feel ill while eating them (I still ate them though!). I've eaten Guinea Pig, which is served with it's plucked head still on, and alive lemon ants without any problems. There was just something about the plungers that put me off.

Marmite - brown tarry looking substance, but tastes good

Pepsi/Coke - Brown liquid that looks like its from the bottom of a dirty toilet, but tastes good

Guinness - Black liquid with a frothy head, but tastes good
