It downloaded through Steam for me in about 15 mins, and that was about 7pm. Around 900kbps I think it was. Tried all the other links first as I didn't want to use Steam but they were all going about 21kbps so I quickly gave up on that. The Mirror link isn't the full demo is it?

Went to Mirror link and that down loaded and then vanished !! then went to the stream link at about 6.30 installed stream about 5mins and then downloaded the demo about 20mins, had a quick look and had to make dinner. So tonight is the night (unless something more important happens !!)

Any good free transfers or players worth a punt ?
and can you do the old trick of new manager (A.Hole) Man utd and buy our crap players for ludicrous amounts of money. Therefore boosting our funds and then retire from Man utd !!

Basically the same as the single player game, only online? As in...have tonnes of identical real worlds, when a job comes available in one of them you can apply for it, all real players, real clubs etc.

This would be the best game of all all all all all time. Even better than Mario Kart.

Well you can do that with the current game but you need to find people to play online with. There's an online forum on the SI Forums where people set these things up.

I gave up as it was so slow, 20kbps. Reluctantly went with Steam but hope I can get rid of Steam when I get the game itself at the end of the month.

Based on mcshanes advice have switched to steam and have had 'download starting' for ten minutes. Is this normal?

Getting very nervous now... has been saying 'starting download' for more than 40 mins now but my green download bar is full on my computer. If it hasnt started downloading yet what AM I downloading? Anyone else had something similar with Steam? Should I log off and start again?
