Adam ElAbd is available. :)

Worthing have slapped a £50 price on his head and told Brighton not to come back until they match their valuation.
It's understood Brighton have offered some malfunctioning turnstiles and secondhand flasks as part of an exchange deal.

Talks are ongoing and all parties are unavailable for comment.

I think a like for like Biss replacement is a good idea and this is the man I want.

Hopefully, replacements for Maupay, Cucurella (whether he stays or goes) and Burn are in the pipeline too.
Yes, I agree, as usual with Hugo.
AliMac is a great player but not sure that defensive midfielder is his position. I'd like to see us get this guy in to have as a specialist DEfensive Midfielder. I doubt he'd start every game and so it would still give game time for Alzate.
If AliMac isn't going to sign a new contract we need succession planning in midfield. I can see Caicedo being a target for a few big clubs next summer too. Seems sensible if we can move him in at a reasonable cost. ( salary plus sign on).

Has Adam slapped in a transfer request yet?

Lallana? Great skills but lightweight, there is no way he could play the Biss role imo. Mac has got the combative attitude you’d expect of an Argentinian and Scot now and an eye for a through ball. I’ll hang my hat on him being up to it

As an aside he does make me laugh when he speaks, he looks like he should be speaking like a sweaty but speaks like a Latin

Combative nature of an Argentinian? ???

It’s covered here too:

I would comment that Naylor hinted that we’re still talking to him after his alleged Brighton visit. I’d be very surprised if our scouts hadn’t done their homework on his personality before inviting him over here for discussions? Maybe it was his old man whom we had an issue with?

I was having doubts about his personality too when it sounded like he and/or his dad had negotiated their way out of signing for us. I doubt any of the other clubs are offering more money and we offer the opportunity to showcase his talents in the premier league. The sensible thing to do would have been to tell his dad to get it done so he can join up in preseason. He’s been a free agent for a while and will be playing catch up in terms of fitness and match sharpness, so will likely face a battle to dislodge a first team starter. If he’d signed when he came for talks he would have had a good chance of starting at old Trafford on Sunday. I’d still like him to sign though as others have said I think our squad is lacking a specialist defensive midfielder with a physical presence.

I've seen it mentioned elsewhere that there have been question marks around his temperament before this summer.
Potter focuses a lot on teamwork and players who aren't first teamers having the necessary mentality to be positive and prepared for their chance. If that's in question, then reassuring that we say no.
The ability to give a considered 'no' is undervalued these days.

Looks like he's going to Ajax. Think we might regret this one.

Would have thought Ajax have a no dickhead test as well. Still, as much as I love us, Ajax or Brighton feels like a no brainer decision
Ajax have the champions League. Which they will go out early this season. Hardly any competitive games in a postman's league.

We are a far better prospect these days.

Not at all. Failed the dickhead test. He could have destroyed the dressing room.
How do you know he's a dickhead? Because he has dodgy advisors ? Does that mean cucu is a really big dickhead then ?
