Looks a complicated one. Doubt this will come off as the player/ agent (Dad) seem to be looking at many options. We won’t buckle on wages so I would think that puts him out of our reach.

I didn’t think Hoffenheim paid particularly big wages (and that’s relative to the Bundesliga who on average pay much lower salaries than PL clubs), so I’m a little surprised his demands are beyond what we’d pay. Assuming that’s what the tweet’s implying.

I think thats us, Fiorentina and a few Turkish clubs his dads torpedo'd, he might genuinely not find another club at this rate with the bridges being burned down.

Sounds like this father (agent) and son double act are going for the mega lifetime pension bonus top up big deal plan. Good luck to them if they can get a club to pay out the agent fees and wages they appear to be after. I suggest they turn their attention to the China league where I’m sure good fortune awaits them if money is their prime motivation.

There’s a story circulating on Twitter that he had talks with Everton but they have gone nowhere and he may now join us. May well be b@locks but would be handy to get a specialist DM.
His Dad appears to be a worse agent than Harry Kane’s brother.
