Wrong! Just outside Wimbledon (to be more precise if you are driving from Morden to South Wimbledon the building used as "Sun Hill" Nick is on the industrial estate on the RHS just before you approach South Wimbledon. My brother in law took us to see it - most of the police signs are (badly) covered up when not being used for filming.

There's a bit in the film 'Wimbledon' where the two romantically-linked tennis players (Kirsten Dunst and Paul Bettany) come down to Brighton and have a knockabout on the popular tennis court opposite the Concorde...

Manchester United did not actually beat Bayern Munich in the 1999 European Cup Final in the Nou Camp stadium in Barcelona. The match actually finished 1-0 Bayern. As all the United fans left five minutes before the end to catch their planes back to London, the 90th minute goals by Sheringham and Solskjaer were spliced onto the end of the coverage by MUFC-TV and broadcast around the world. To avoid deep embarrassment at their coverage being hacked in this way, UEFA then confirmed the edited footage as correct.

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe was actually filmed just outside of Matlock. They had trouble with the authorities of Narnia and all filming rights fell through, leading to a last minute switch to Derbyshire.

Not that anyone here will remember the film but Key Largo was not filmed in Key Largo. In fact the place was only named Key Largo after the film had been issued.

And that James Bond that was supposed to be filmed in Cuba, the one where Halley Berry comes out of the sea. It was actually filmed in Cádiz - if you watch carefully you can see the yellow dome of the Cathedral in the background.
