Thank you - love seeing old photos of Brighton although these were clearly taken a bit before my time.
Couple of questions for those old enough :
1. What on earth were flowers of sulphur used for ?
Nice to see the BOT in there and amazing to see those roads virtually deserted of cars and buses

You're older than you look.That's Hodson's mill on West Hill Rd. It was demolished in 1866. I remember it well.
