The judges are bent. That kick to the head rocked her head back. no one could have missed that even sat 200 metres away. Whats the point of a competition if the local is cheated to the Gold medal. if i were the British team i would walk out of any further involvement and take no further part.
This girl has dedicated 4 years of her life to be cheated of an olympic final by bent judges.
The worse thing is there's no appeals process so the judges bent result is final.
An utter disgrace which has stained these superb olympics.

The IOC are looking into some more than dodgy scores in the boxing, and i wouldn't be surprised if they looked at this game.
The guy yesterday in the Taekwondo who came fourth wasn't given points when he deserved them either.

They've just corrected the decision, and GB are through to the semi-finals.

Absolute fair play to the officials they have reversed the result and given the decision to the Brit. Hats off. These games are now the best in history.

I am really uplifted by this decision. The correct thing has happened and it was very brave. These China olympics have been absolutely wonderful in all regards.
The decision has been overturned, and quite rightly so. Even Stevie Wonder could see that kick landed.

As they've just said, the decision to reverse the result hasn't been announced in Chinese yet - the place is going to explode!

I watched a boxing match earlier in the games, where it was totally one-sided ....and surprise surprise (complete coincidence) - in favour of the Chinese.
At last thoudh, in this case the judging was over-ruled. It payed to 'kick off' about the poor judging, and make a fuss about what a travesty it was.
The girl was right - "they can just take away your dreams"....

I do not believe the Chinese public want to win the Gold by cheating. I have no reason to believe they are not fair minded.

Traditionally, they are known for honour and fairness in competition.
The judges aren't Chinese though, I don't believe. They are the ones who should be seriously looked at

Wow that's superb. I slammed the telly off in disgust when it became abundantly clear that there was no avenue to challenge the decision .
