Got to be fair to the bloke. The Haddock is as good as ive ever had in Brighton. place has been there for years. I guess he paid attention when
they showed him the ropes.
Strangely, the best ive ever eaten was when I was staying in Victoria, a bit further up the hill from Holmfirth (Last of the summer wine).
First time there I took a bite whilst heading out, and on tasting it, rejoined the queue. Outstanding.

On another note. 2 quid for a portion of chips in one of the places on the seafront. I can remember a time when you couldn't carry 2 quids worth.

thems was the days.... best fish and chips in sussex from memory was the crunchy cod in Ham Rd East Worthing ....i am talking 40 years ago now though.....it was locally known as the spunk bubble because of the unsavoury activites of the proprietor with the skanks of the area , on a mattress in the room above the shop....ah christoforo , i'm sure he spent days and days in his doctors waiting room in his latter years ...dirty old sod.....great batter though...!!

Greek chips ( in Greece) are among the best I have ever had.

I received an email this morning that Bankers has closed all it's branches.

all chippys are open ...offys are open ...one carton per visit... people are really starting to question all this lock down bollox.....personally i really am not sure what the **** is going on .....wooliboolibalabong is closed to outsiders....
