Finance a striker

I have said on another thread that we need 220 people extra to buy a ticket to pay the wages of a proven goalscorer = £5k per week'

I will pledge to buy an extra ticket over and above my season ticket, which I have, for all of the remaining homes games to either use, give away, or even throw away to help finance bringing in a striker. I will send the money to the club later on in the week and every week thereafter or in 1 lump sum which ever they want provided.

1. The money is used solely for the paying of wages for a proven goalscorer not one for the future and no other purpose than for this striker.
2. 250 other people do likewise .

Trouble is no striker is interested in coming to BHAFC.

Not necessarily I suppose the club could be bluffing.

Perhaps Bensgranded should take over as we'd go bust within a season and then not waste our time debating these issues.

I think there is also another point to this that is possibly being overlooked by some. The likes of Jake, Joe, CKR are all very young. Who is showing them the ropes, both on the pitch and training ground - they need someone to learn from.

If we want these guys to develop, where is their leadership and learning coming from? With respect, I can't see this being MM, BB or DW. (or Leon Knight/Mark McCammon either)

Yet another instance of BensGrandad trying to hijack the management of the club from the people he wants to get rid of.

What utter rubbish I am offering assistance in the area that I belive the club is failing.

You have done a remarkable job in the furthering of our claims for FALMER.

If I had £100k to spare I would give it to the club to pay the wages of a striker. I havent so I am offering to assist in a way that I can I want nothing from this other than to seea striker come and score the goals so that we stay up so that my Grandson and I will be able to watch BHA IN 2 years time.

DW? White or Wilkins?

It's obvious that Dean Wilkins hasn't got a clue about getting a decent performance out of the youth squad.

Taking them off on trips to Blackburn and Newcastle, when they should be learning their skills on the training ground... I ask you!

Because the money will not go to what I would want it to paying the wages of a striker. It would be absorbed in 'normal expenses of the day to day running of the club'.

The need for a striker and to pay his wages is over and above that, and something for which I am prepared to offer what assistance I can, however small.

Any money given to the club is controlled by the club so that is not a point of issue.

Maybe not so in alive and kicking,

but correct me if i am wrong, but 40 notes fund was created to fund players and aided the signing of ben roberts amongst others.

I am not sure that it was used only for that purpose but I wouldn't argue I am sure The Large One will be able to tell us what the money was spent on. Fairly sure I read somewhere tyhat some went on Ben Roberts the rest went towards Falmer but I may well be wrong.

who is DW?

I meant it to be for Dean White - reserve team coach - he will have a hand in the development of our senior (inc. young but no longer youth) players (inc. strikers).

But of course DW is also Dean Wilkins who is youth team coach - I wouldn't expect him to be too involved in coaching the seniors (stand to be corrected).
