Blimey. Red arrows anyone?

I've just been using this clever system -
General Election 2010: See How The Polls Will Affect Parliament And Make Your Own Guesses On Our How Many MPs Feature (you can move the wagon wheel in the middle and click calculate to change the result)

Which seems to suggest, if Conversatives come 1st, and Labour come 2nd (which is my prediction). Conversations will need to be about 15% higher than Labour for there not to be a hung parliament. Is that about right?

That's a very interesting find!

It is very difficult to judge what the Tories need over Labour in terms of share of the vote to govern without a hung parliament. In the past, there have even been times when parties with more votes than any other party have lost the General Election.

Interesting. Lib Dems coming out on top so far.

We keep being told that the margin of error for national opinion polls is +/- 3%...I wonder what it is for NSC polls?

I don't know an amnesty for illegals would be quite fun

This is my point.Where will the Lib Dems draw the line? I hate evrything they stand for.

Would you like your tax free allowance on your income raised to £10k?

The Lib Dems manifesto says they will also scrap ID cards, seek to change the electoral system and phasing out the tax free allowance for those earning over £100,000. What's not to like?

Immigration is my priority.

Wasn't it the Lib dems who voted against the 42 day rule for terror suspects?

Labour bends over backwards for the minorirty in this country. The Lib Dems will take it to a new level.Forget boarder controls.

The Lib Dems want to tighten border controls and re-introduce the register of who enters and leaves the country, at present there is no monitoring whatsoever.

Liberal Democrats and Conservatives both opposed it.

Locking up people for six weeks without charge... the potential for abuse is enormous.

Not that keen or excited about Clegg, Cameron, or Brown, would say between labour and ukip my vote could be going. Would welcome hung parliment!

Contest in Crawley is pretty much between Labour popular radio presenter, standing in place of former MP Moffat and Tory West Sussex Council leader who made a big cock up of roads countywide last winter with the snow.

Just visited the BBC website and there was a big 'What is a hung parliament' banner

BBC News - Q&A: What is a hung parliament?

Anyway, in amongst the 'guide', it has the following -

"The Conversatives would have an absolute majority if they won an additional 116 seats. The Lib Dems would need to win an extra 264."

Kind of what I was after... I think.

not made my mind up, the expenses thing totally ruined any trust i may of had in any party or its leader, its no good saying well he didnt do it but he did, the fact is all of them knew of it yet kept stum, simply not good enough imo.

I thought at the time of not voting but the country is a mess with british people being left homeless in favour of those from other countries something is drasticly wrong with the system, i cant quite bring myself to vote BNP as for all its promises on immigration ect they are weak in other areas of policy, Lib dems scare the bejesus out of me but i quite like their views on trident and nude bike riding, ile sleep on it .

Sounds like that your vote should be Conservative/ukip?
