We are putting that issue to bed and future proofing it for the next two or three years

Or until Mr Toad gets bored of his existing squad of 500 and decides to come after ours again.

Not externally 😬
Exactly. Do you agree with that?

As a fan, I don't. But if I were a player or FH, I absolutely would.

I realise there are pros and cons with broadcasting targets externally (no need to pile the pressure onto Fab), but it does mean that the fans are left wondering what to expect and what to measure success/failure against. It is possible that is the intention.

Yes, for the reasons you state. Let’s all stick with ‘established top 10 club’ 😊

As an aside, I've been watching massive vs. massive in the Yorkshire non premier league derby. While there's plenty of intensity and hard work, there's no invention. None.

It's just an average championship game, but a world away from the football we are capable of.

How far we've come. Apologies for the digression.

Nah, fair point. Quality of football is shite. Leeds could do with a decent attacking………ah, hang on

Both of The RB Leeds United's goals have been excellently set up.

Plenty of empty seats despite the MASSIVE scale of this match

I don’t feel any desire whatsoever to 'wonder what to expect and what to measure success/failure against".

Oh come on! For heaven’s sake Eric, we’re not at work now, fearful about our annual targets blah blah. We’re football fans. We love watching our team play. If they continue to give us joy, that’s really wonderful. On the off-chance that Albion win something or achieve a European place, WA-HEY!! Life is sweet.

I’m sure that senior management at the club have their own team targets, tied in with their financial planning. But as fans, let’s not complicate the glorious pleasure of going to the match and supporting the team and the players, with stressful stuff about how to measure success and failure.

I reckon he's gonna fly over my manor. I'll pop out and give him a wave. And a small boo of course.

That's touch and go. The Belgian coast is quite narrow. It is just possible he could fly over the Dutch coast and then turn on a sixpence and descend in to
Biggin Hill.
Or Norwich International.
