Obviously there is supposedly interest from Man U. Other than that, who else would possibly try to take him (if anyone)?

Hoping we can get this done before we play Man U this weekend.
Given that they have one of the best right backs in the world (Dalot) and just signed another one (Mazraoui) from Bayern, I think its unlikely that United would be interested in him.

I also think they have stalled to see whether anyone else comes in for him, but I think that’s unlikely. Most of Europes other big clubs have got their targets in their sight and Ferdi doesn’t seem as if he’s a priority for those that may have shown a previous interest such as United or Arsenal. If there was any concrete evidence then I’d assume he would favour them.
However, I’ve seen from some sources that we will be setting a deadline of this week as I assume we need to give ourselves time to sort a back up.

No change then. Can't imagine we are too pleased with the time elapsed.

You've all seen how their ice cream men operate :lolol::lolol:
We dig our heels in with out going transfers (Caicedo to Chelsea for example) so we’ve got to accept that clubs will do the same when we are trying to buy one of their players. I’m sure Bloom and Barber accept this is all part of the transfer game.

I agree, I'm more curious if there's anyone else who's hat has been thrown in the mix.

These aren't the players you're looking for.

I don't know, but they may be looking to replace LB Luke Shaw, who gets injured more than Adam Lallana.

West Ham? I usually point out to my West Ham mate that every player they sign, they claim to have beaten Brighton to them. Kudos aside I have never seen us linked with any of their signings for quite some time. But maybe I've got it wrong and we're the delusional ones?

Adds fuel to the fire they are stalling. Not great reading. We don't want to be holding on until deadline day and we miss out on someone else. Squeaky bum time.

Ultimately, I don’t think Fenerbahçe are going to win the stalling game.

Romano gets info directly from agents agitating for a move or a new contract. He has a lot of them and gets a lot of info. He also has a lot of highly unreliable imitators who post complete nonsense on X for likes and blue tick money.

Neither are foolproof. Romano initially ALWAYS hedges but a 'here we go' is 99.9% reliable. I trust the here we go. I don't trust anything he could later change or delete.

My lad tells me how reliable Romano is - and to be fair he normally is at "Here we go" phase - so I love to wind him up by sending him this whenever he tells me it's deal done.

To give credit to Romano, he has never deleted it.

To be fair that deal was all set to be completed then Newcastle managed to sign Isak and couldn’t afford both so pulled out of the deal for Pedro. I believe Joao has confirmed this story himself in interviews.

It will happen when Fenerbache have Sergio Reguilón, or other replacement agreed.
