I had dinner tonight with some Turkish work colleagues, all very into football, one of whom played for Besiktas before retiring injured and seems to know most of the Istanbul based sides really well. He’s very confident he’s not leaving Fenerbahce - apparently Mourinho made it clear he wanted to keep him when he joined. Does consider him a very good player though.

Also rates Barco very highly and was surprised we landed him.
