From what i gather Ipswich rate him more than Richards, so will be a great coup if we get him.

Might even add a few more to the crowd on saturday

Town Chief Executive Derek Bowden has confirmed that the Club have accepted an offer from Brighton for George O'Callaghan.

The midfielder, who is 28 next week, will now travel to the south coast to speak to the League One side about personal terms.

Breaking the news to the Club website, Derek said: "We have agreed a fee with Brighton for George and have given them permission to speak to him about personal terms."

George joined Town from Cork in January and has made 12 appearances for Town, scoring one goal.

Hardly experienced then...

At 28 he should be pretty experienced and a few good players have come from Cork. I think it's great but I have no idea how good he is or even what type of player he is...but if it's a signing whoopeee:flameboun

In the past few years he has attracted the attention of both Spurs and Bolton. Seems like he was a bit of a cult hero at Cork, and reckoned to be one of the most skillful players in the Irish league.

Could be a good signing for us, if can we afford his wages?

Sounds a good prospect but our bandages budget may need to increase.

If this is true we should throw Bertin's alleged BIG OFFER at him. This club needs a cult hero, we haven't had one for a while
