NO votes for A Clockwork Orange? I should have made this a multi-choice poll - I went for the Shining but regret it now.

I went for Lolita...it was a tos-up between that, The Shinig and Paths of Glory.

No mention of The Killing so couldn't vote for that.

Probably because when you look past the hype it's not actually a very good film. Crap dialect and the plot is all over the place yet doesn't really go anywhere.

I mean all that future talk stuff. I viddy that when I went to the milk bar for a bit of the old in-out in-out. Just made it even more difficult to watch

Paths of Glory by far. Greatest (anti) war film ever made.

The beginning of 2001 has to rate as one of the best openings to any film, has to be seen on the big screen. Who would have thought that spaceships and apes with a pig and a bone thrown in for good measure could be that awesome and thought provoking. It was long time ago and I was quite stoned though.
