Me, my asian babe girlfriend and some selected freidns were reminiscing down the Dog & Duck last night about our school days which turned into quite a heated debate about what the best school subject was.

So in your opinion just what was your favourite subject at school??

???

That went so far over my head it's in orbit!

I liked PE becuase running around kicking balls beat sitting at a desk for 50 minutes any day of the week.

probably right...although this week we have had three new customers buy the new generation i5 machines....seems they are making a comeback.

So long as they carry on for the next 15 off years until I retire that would be nice

Funny how nobody voted for computer studies/IT.

Our IT lessons were tremendously dull and consisted of basic word processing using a BBC Microcomputer, taught grudgingly by a cantankerous old bag with bad hair and smokers' breath.

The internet was still in its infancy, and certainly hadn't reached the point where computers at schools in places like Hassocks could have access.

Imagine a world without the internet now  yet it really wasn't that long ago, in the grand scheme of things.

Geography, but a close call with Maths.

What is social education? ??? Is that.... learning to socially interact and talk to people other than those on computers!?

It's probably what they called PSVE at my school, PSE at some others.

Where they teach you things you need to interact with society, including finance, citizenship, love & relationships (the teacher we had at the time tried so hard to be "down with the kids", she insisted on telling us about her own sex life, which is not what you want to hear at 15 years old :nono:  )
