Mine is my late father in law, played in goal at the Goldstone once back in the day. He was a Ryan type keeper, the shortest player on the team, played for Plumpton predominately in the 60's

Back in the 70s you had to be a Ron to run West Brom as in, Ronnie Allen, Ron Wylie, Ron Saunders, Ron Atkinson. Don Howe was also manager - at least he could have gone from Don to Ron for symmetry purposes.

It's possibile that those who voted for Jeremy had no idea about those allegations as I certainly didn't until you mentioned it (not that I voted for him).
Having just read about the allegations, what a vile piece of filth he allegedly is. He is not even being charged with 14 of his alleged offences as they are outside the statute of limitations.

I remember my brother saying he was offered some sweets from his boys and took one for himself and 'Ron' then later took some more for him and 'Ron' After an hour or so they asked my brother 'who the hell is Ron' and is he coming up to get his sweets as they had seen my brother eat Ron's sweets.
