Few of mine, Two blokes fighting during the minutes silence for the Queen Mum, Andy Peterson running backwards and falling over leaving an empty net and Lee Steele scoring a last minute winner against Bristol City despite being 4 or 5 yards off-side.

It's bizarre when people talk about Steele being offside. I'd put my mortgage* on Steele being comfortably not offside (he was in an offside position when he put it away), and never considered for a second anyone's concerns that it might have been offside.

However, my 'obscure' memory is a minute later when Steele was given offside the Bristol City defender shouting, quite audibly, in the biggest Wurzel accent possible 'yeah, you got that roight, you f***ing bitch...'

* I don't actually have a mortgage, but you get the drift

The first time it rained hard and we all put on our ponchos. It looked like a mass gathering of the Ku Klux Klan.
Think there was a photo somewhere, Arsegas maybe?

The game against Exeter City when they picked up TEN yellow cards (and no reds).

Do beleive it may have been 12 or 13!

Favourite moment would be Micky Adams trying to get Andy Crosby off having already used all his subs! Crosby wasn't having a great one! Ref wasn't having any of it once he got his head round what was going on.

It must have been an opening day game - well it was certainly very sunny and we were playing Blackpool. Steve McMahon(?) their manager completely lost his rag, went bright red, got sent off, only to stand in the ebnd of the tunnel and carry on shouting at teh ref and players, when it was near the family stand.

I liked the BILLY SHARP game, when he acted like a six-year old, and got loads of stick from the crowd, then ultimately completely lost it. Funny.

Halifax Town (?) manager in about 2000 was - understandably - SO PISSED OFF with the ref's performance (the match where Hart was booked twice - once for being two-footed, and once for being elbowed) he ended up walking off and watching the last 10 minutes from the behind the east goal.

Man City - electric wheelchair charging (!!) across the pitch. Will never forget that.

Scenes with Russell Slade on the pitch when we stayed up.

Won't miss Withdean but have fond memories as well as some shockers.
