Favourite LP of the year 2004

I bought only one newly release album this year. And I don't think its worth nominating, although it is good - its not Record of the Year.

Has anyone heard SUFJAN STEVENS: Michigan (Rough Trade).
Its been nominated in virtually every best LP of the year poll I've read, so I was hoping someone could shed some light?

Yeah it's alright. Nu-folk. Can't shed too much light as i've only heard bits. Not groundbreaking, but occasionally lovely.
