I do remember the north stand using a bit in the second half of the 1996/97 season, granted around the Fans Utd time, but generally I do agree with the remark about it being a bit turd.

I was thinking about this the other day... YNWA used to be a staple offering from the North Stand at one time but that was before modern PA systems and the ritualised singing of club anthems became the norm...

it was also before live TV games so I guess we didn't really know what the real version sounded like anyway...

similarly we used to sing "then like West Ham they fade and die" ...
