Last years was good but i went for

2001 - Henchoz should have got sent off in the first 10 mins for his great save on the line, then Arsenal battered Liverpool for about 80 minutes, only for liverpool to score 2 at the end with Owens winner and their fans going mental!!

1991 for me, for obvious reasons. 1987 brings back just too many traumatic childhood memories (especially when sitting in part of the stadium with more Coventry than Spurs fans, for some reason).

But 2001 makes me chuckle still.
Michael Owen  Classic goalpoaching, let's desperately hope against hope - and likely prospects - that he's not quite finished yet.

Worst final - 1981... I was getting married that day...Priest announced during the service how it was going, people listening to match on radio during photos and then husband wanted to watch MotD on our wedding night...I suppose I should have been able to predict from that the wedding wouldn't last (especially as it went to a replay and we had to watch that too on honeymoon!)

Tottenham Hotspur 3 (Villa 8, 76, Crooks 76) Manchester City 2 (Mackenzie 11, Reeves 50)

First cup final where someone scored in both ends (Tommy Hutchison), thereby forcing the replay!

None. I lost interest after 1983 and I don't think I've watched one all the way through since.

Favorite ones before 1983 were the 1970 Chelsea v Leeds replay (I was still largely a Chelsea fan then) and the Sunderland v Leeds one in 1973. Worst was 1967 when 'we' lost 2-1 to Spurs. I'd already had to put up with the humiliaton of drawing 1-1 at Brighton when I'd told all my new friends we were going to thrash their little club.

The Coventry one, which I attended. Very arguably, the last great traditional cup final.

Was daydreaming at work earlier about the 1987 cup final for no particular reason. Cracking final, and the first one I properly sat down and watched. That diving header... :clap2:

Here & there
2006. Gerrard was a class above. I was in the Liverpool end in 1986 when they won the double against Everton. So many mixed families that had Dad supporting one team & the Mum & kids supporting the other that it made for a good friendly atmosphere. 1983 is obviously my all time fave.

The only one I went to in 1989 Liverpool V Everton.

Cup final after Hillsborough as well.

Quite remarkable. Everton fans belting out "We Shall Not Be Moved" whenever the "Kop" started all their never walk alone shite.

2001 definitely

taking the cup final out the country was always going to be a difficult thing but making it a fantastic one with a couple of crackers from Owen made it that slightly easier

I can only remember as far back as '95, so I'm going to have to go with last years cup final between Wet Sham and Liverpool.

Cup Finals meant the most in early teens - when it all seemed to matter. So I would go with Brovian - but from that list is is the Spurs - Forest final - when Gascoigne should have been sent off - and Spurs should have been down to 10 men. Spurs winning was one of the great injustices.
