1973. Leeds United v Sunderland. How did Jim Montgomery pull off that double save? Bob Stokoe, wearing a trilby, and a dirty raincoat over a tracksuit, running onto the pitch at the end, David-Pleat-like, to embrace his goalkeeper. The other day, I watched the game on DVD. If that game were played today, at least six players would be sent off.
