Harveys Sussex. Perfect whatever the weather.

Why do so many people rate Stella? You know that in Belguim it's a laughing stock, the same level as Watney's Red Barrel was over here in the gassy, keggy 70s.

f***ing good point, lager drinkers in this country don't have a clue. Stella is cheap, cheap, cheap, crap, I did a study on this at uni and Stella uses the cheapest ingredients and stastically causes the most stomach discomfort among drinkers within this country.

Problem with most lager is you're buying advertising rather than taste. My Uncle who's a real ale bore refers to Fosters and the like as alcohol delivery systems.

You can still buy good lager though. Sainsburys taste the difference range has some interesting brews and they also do a good dark lager from the US.

Lager - Stella. Wouldn't say no to a Becks.

Bitter. John Smiths. I like Directors but Directors doesn't like me - always gives me a headache.

Prefer Guiness to Murphys.

Like Scumpy Jack and Strongbow.

(I think I have a problem

:drink: )

It's got to be Harveys Best every time. Has to be cold though.

If I drink lager in the summer, I prefer Kronenberg. Whatever happened to Tennants Extra?? Don't see it anywhere these days. That was nice too.

Anyone tried chinese Ginseng Beer? It has quite a sweet taste and is gorgeous.

In hot weather, one of these weak-as-piss-but-perfectly-chilled American bottles - tho always find that a room-temperature bottle of the very finest Nigerian Guiness ensures a good night's sleep... :drink:
