Sorry mate, can't vote. Love my music since the 50's including Who singles at various times, but never listened to an album by them. Admire your unrestrained band love though. Doesn't Townsend store that Airstream in one of the photo's over Rustington way? Presumably you will be finding a way to crash The Ropetackle in a few weeks then for their mini reunion?

Who's Next by a country mile for me, although I did really like the Who Sell Out at the time it was released, really captured the feel of Radio Caroline and the other pirate stations adverts.

I might have to revisit Sellout, it must be 30 years since I last listened to it.

Lost interest from Quadrophenia on tbh

Anyone who can't get angry listening to "Won't Get Fooled Again" is not one of "My Generation" IMHO.

I went to Live Aid in 1985, was lucky as I was working for a company linked with Harvey Goldsmith at the ttime.

The Who came on and launched into "My Generation". As soon as they stopped, I started hollering for them to play WGFA, I was quite a way back on the ground itself but after a couple of other numbers that familiar riff came up..I died and went to heaven.

One of the truly gob-smacking moments of my life.

PS Are my shouts I one the "Live aid" soundtrack?
