Went to see the Stranglers support The Who at Wembley back in 1979 . Had to endure ACDC , watched the MeninBlack & then left before The Who came on and went & got p*ssed in Soho. That's what I thought of The Who back then and I still think I made an inspired decision.

One of the great bands of all time. But being a sentimental Mod, I have to go for Quadrophenia - so many atmospheric songs, when I walk on any beach, anywhere, I hear songs from this album in my head.
Also as a kid going to watch Grease at the ABC in East Street, Brighton, I witnessed them filming Quadrophenia.
