No way. He’s done the grand total of nothing. Injured or makes no impact. Get rid and free up the wages.
I wish I'd done a 'grand total of nothing'. You must have a different definition to 'nothing' from the rest of us. He's scored twice including in our win at Ajax. He also put a sublime ball through to Adingra against Ajax at home for an assist.

Depends on the money. There’s an excellent player in there, but I don’t think we can justify it for the wages he’s on, and definitely not if it’s another loan without a sensible loan to buy fee.

No thanks, clearly thinks he is better than he is the way he was arguing with the backroom staff arms waving and finger 👉 when leaving the pitch against Roma
Wages better utilised in my mind

I don't think so. Started rusty, got better, got injured, rusty again. During that all to fleeting period when he was playing well, he wasn't our best player despite being on (apparently) top wages.

That said I guess his signing put us on the map a little more (in Spain mainly) and might help us slightly to sign good players who may now be more aware of us.

Not sure if you were there but he was the last to leave the pitch. Maybe he was finger pointing to tell the others to actually stop heading for the tunnel, they left very smartish and De Zerbi was even quicker! He also gave someone his shirt.

Everyone mentioning wages, we are not paying his wages. We paid an £8m one off payment to Barcelona, Barcelona are still paying his wages.
So the question is, would you a) buy him b) take him on for another year at £8m?
Maybe due to injuries we can get it lower then £8m but it's a yes to B for me. A is absolutely no chance as we can't afford him and not many can...

The player himself will want to decide his decision what to do next.
If he has a few years left on his Barcelona contract, he's not going to take a pay cut to move anywhere.
A loan again with a possible permanent move at the end will only be possible if Barcelona pays more in the loan fee IMO

That was some sort of deal based on him being a free transfer, wasn't it? No fee, so the player benefitted.

Because Lallana was a free transfer we were able to pay him a larger signing on bonus to compensate for the reduction in wages. This meant we could bring him in without blowing our existing wage structure wide open and Adam was

Yes please.
He was really getting into his stride pre injury and there is definitely a player in there. If given the chance it’s no brainier from me
