It must be grim asyou like down there, I really cant understand why anyone would want to stand on the beach in the freezing shite weather listening to FBS mainstream bigbeat by numbers dance fodder that he was playing 5 years ago.

You can imagine how unclued up the crowd must be as well, Id wager bordeline tragic judging by the people I know from Eastbourne that have gone over.
What he said.

That stage is wicked though, they had the same one at Westfest this year, it definately toys with your mind after a few little ones

Yes, kind of. It flashed up, then YES and NO flashed up.
OBVIOUSLY it was silent when no came up, and a few people cheered when YES came up.
Don't think anyone really cared about the towers.

Just watched the footage on Argus site and it's nice to see someone really bigging up Brighton for a change and being proud of coming from here. Reclaim Brighton from the students and batty boys!!

I had a great time, and was about 6ft away from the front.

The Cuban Brothers were brilliant, David Guetta was great considering his cd players were dying due to the rain, and of course Fatboy is Fatboy!

Spiderman, before it started - Batman was with him though I didn't get a pic

You can't really see it, but on his shorts is an image of a large penis. Later he took them offf to reveal a small thong type thing, with a hole in the front with his cock hanging out

I think you're missing the point here, it was a party and a bloody good party at that. Whilst I didnt engage in any music based discussions and therefore cannot pass judgement on any of the crowd's musical pedigree most of the people around me we sound and pleasent and polite and having fun.

I appreciate what you say about his music but there is certainly a time and a place for Fatboy Slim. I've seen him a number of times over the past ten years or so and his club sets are pretty poor these days but give him a big crowd and a big stage and it can be a laugh....if you let go of any musical snobbery you have.

PS I consider myself 'clued' when it comes to music and I have a fair understanding and appreciation of a lot of dance music.

I'm open to pretty much most music - and do enjoy Fatboy Slim, we didn't go to BB3 but I'd never rule something like that out..would be fun under the right circumstances, the weather being warmer for one

Really enjoyed it despite the conditions. We were fairly near the front. The only disappointment was Fatboy Slim didn't really play much of his own stuff but what he played was pretty good. I thought David Guetta was excellent and the Cuban Brothers were certainly different!

Thought the Cuban Brothers outstayed their welcome by about an hour. Seemed to be on forever. David Guetta was class, and FBS was FBS :clap2:

Nope, had a white Albion poncho on. Most people went 'Coo - I want one of those!'. Could have made a FORTUNE selling them on the night

My son said it was £3 for a can of Carlsberg.

To me that is a disgrace - and something that FBS needs to sort out. You don't make a big thing about locals - then have them ripped off.
