Been amusing myself looking at tweets by Chelsea fans on Twitter talking about how Brighton “fleeced” them (like we somehow forced them to give us money) and how they hate us so much. Thanks for the 6 points and £80m lads!! 😂

Boehly must rue the day he bought them.

His wealth depleting by the day.

With no CL football next season, his world record spend based on “quick, let’s beat ManC and Tottenham to every media-hyped name”, is going to be a huge financial millstone.

In the words of Wham?! “Hey sucker”.

Ironically it’s the most I’ve ever agreed with a Swansman post. Funny old world.

Same here. Loved the way he mocked them head on as a McDonald’s club :lolol:

If only he hadn’t got down the internet rabbit warren of anti Ukraine and anti Jew :(

He had absolutely no idea what to do to stop us. Every time I looked at the beaches he just seemed to be waiving his arms in the air for no apparent reason.
Wonder if he will see out the season

Must be his last EPL manager gig.

Should quietly retire. Instead greeting Stamford Bridge hospitality guests every other Saturday, with his personality-devoid anecdotes.

Lampard has lost 11 and drawn two of his last 13 games. Would they have been better off sticking with Potter?

Not sure if it's mentioned here or if it's been debunked, but has anyone else read this claim that Boehlbag got Lampard back on the sole recommendation of James Corden? :lolol:
I’ve read that claim now! It’s going straight in as no1 wind up of Chelsea fans I know for at least the next week. Thanks!

The fans are imploding. Lots of anti-Lampard sentiment and plenty pointing out life was better with Potter...

This is all absolutely hilarious. If you’d told me this would happen the day after Potter left, I simply wouldn’t have believed it. Yet it only took our home game with them to expose The Todd as a naked Emperor in charge of a club with a backbone made of wet tissue paper. All the time he’s in charge there’s only one way for Chelsea to go, and it’s not upwards

Sacking Potter and bringing in Lampard was completely mental, I have no doubt that fan pressure brought about this absolute faux pas. I am delighted we faced Fat Frank and not GP yesterday, enjoyable as rubbing GP’s nose in the dirt again might have been. Almost certainly have been a much tougher game imo.

Gallagher reminds me of an upmarket CMS on speed, had a good game and along with Mudryk they were the only two Chelsea players that made me a little nervous

As happens so often when we dominate games the keeper played out of his skin. Pleased for Sanchez too, he did well for us

Gallagher has the sign over us. I suspect he always will. He only had to leather the ball at Lewis Dunk’s legs in the full knowledge that the subsequent deflection would bring him a goal. I dislike him a lot for this reason.

‘Gallagher to score’ should be an insurance bet for everything we play against the spawny git.

Chelsea aside, I struggle to understand what anyone sees in Lampard as a manager.
