Anybody who expects there to be a brilliant, noisy, get behind the team atmosphere when we are being done up like kippers is living in cloud cukoo land. It doesn't happen like that. It needs the manager to sort out an attacking, entertaining team that lifts the supporters. I went to loads of games at The Goldstone, and when the team performed badly, there were moans and boos. If it didn't happen, the manager wouldn't be motivated to improve matters, or worry about getting replaced. AND I should imagine as the team on the pitch can't hear what is going on in the stands, they probably take it as encouragement anyway :)

if it means a clear out of the jcl's YES..... limited following = genuine fans, LET THE GLORY HUNTERS TURN UP WHEN REQUIRED .

Think you are getting your Burberry and Stone Island knickers in a twist here. On this very thread, you want to ditch your season ticket and make the club sweat. In this post you talk about clearing out the JCLS leaving the genuine fans.

Which are you?

WILL THE REAL DAS REICH PLEASE STAND UP?

I'm not renewing my season ticket, and it's not because I don't want to support the Albion.I've supported them for as long as I can remember, and I'm a bit aged and creaky now.The first game I went to on my own was v Middlesboro when we lost 4-6 at home, and I'd been going with my Dad (Gawd rest him) for a couple of years before that.So I'm not a JCL,and I don't support my local League club, which is probably Exeter City.

I'm not renewing because I cannot get to the midweek games, and too many others are being time -changed,and that makes things awkward, too.I don't even want to work out what I've paid per game attended, but it is too much.So with the extra seats I'll try to get to as many games on a Saturday at 3.00 next season as there are,and still go to some of the aways. So I'll still be supporting the Albion, just not as a season ticket holder.

Message ends.

To be honest, I think you have a good reason to give up your ST. Hats off to you and others who travel a fair distance to get to home games.

I am in an almost identical position, but travelling to each game from Portsmouth instead.

No more season ticket for me next year.

Real shame but its the only logical choice.

Recently I've seen a lot of posters on here saying they won't renew season tickets if we don't keep players, progress, sack poyet etc.

What's going on? I for one, have a season ticket because I support my local league team, and will continue to go whatever happens.

People seem to be forgetting what football really is.

So what is it? Gus plays f***ing dire footy. Gus picks f***ing dire formations and teams. Gus is enough to send the samaritions into meltdown. Gus is the problem and will always be the problem. Gus can't take us forward but backwards. The players are lost and look at Gus as a f***ing halfwit. All our problems are GUS!!

Oh, Happy new year :)

This all sounds very familiar.

I've been lucky this season in getting away from work early when needed, or used my annual leave to get to games, but it can be tiring and expensive. The lack of Saturday 3pm games is a massive consideration for me. With a bit of forward planning Saturday matches can be reasonably cheap for me, and a bloody good laugh. Moving it to 5:20pm, as they did for Watford, means buying another train ticket, an expensive taxi to complete my journey home, and getting there no earlier than 1am.

If I had decent seats I would renew in a heartbeat as you only need to attend 2 in 3, but I'm getting equally fed up with the miserable old fuckers that sit around me and moan when you try and get a bit animated. I expect I'll just take my chance and buy tickets as and when needed next season. I'm pretty sure they'll be plenty available.

Why not move seats? I'm looking into that as a friend of mine wants to move to the north from the west.

The club need to come up with some ways of helping the fans who travel a long distances maybe selective season tickets so we keep them involved and help fans to get together and share transport. Any other ideas to help.

People won't renew because they will pick and choose there games. There will be over 10,000 to choose from if this way of playing continues.

Keep posting correct fact Kev, cos it saves me a lot of time putting my point of view across.

It would help if Poyet pulled his finger out and started motivating the team. We are not doing as well as we should be I believe.

O Zeb.....so a team unmotivated is the problem...or a team lacking in confidence...hmmm

Anyway renewals? Not due until April...geez loads can change in a week in football let alone 4 months

same for me, although without the work bit. Thought it would be a piece of piss travelling up, but taking twelve hours out of a day to watch 90 minutes or so of footie is knackering, especially when the kick off times are mucked about with. Still undecided re ST though .
