yep ,this is defo the way forward for the general punter ,ditch the season ticket and make the club sweat .

And maybe Gus could announce the line-up and formation five days before so people can make an informed decision over whether this is a game they would like to watch. Hopefully that would lead to an end to the lone striker situation.

Of course the club needs fans, but it doesn't need 25,000 + of them. The club would easily get by with half that.

Football for me isn't so much about money & success, but more the fact you are supporting your club and city with passion. Take that away, and what's the point?

Passion & support just doesn't really happen at the Amex, and yes I do blame the JCL's and will probably rejoice once they have all f***ed off and we're getting 15,000 attendances. For me personally, next season I'll be saving my money and doing more away games instead.

f*** me, what a statement! You must be thick.

in an ideal world ,but most punters wouldn't be bothered, you're either going to the game or you're not, nice situation to be in plenty of empty seats to choose from , could tick the right box for a lot of punters

Either a wind up merchant or simply mental

It would be nice of you to tell me what you disagree with, rather than just giving me abuse.

Sorry, but comments like,"I'll rejoice when the JCL's have gone" and "We do not need 25,000+ fan to get by" leave you wide open to abuse.

You are either fishing while bored waiting to go out or thick.

I for one cannot work out which one.

Well all of it to be honest but in particular the notion our club would be better off if we had half the fans we did. Unfortunately for you bloom does not agree with your slightly radical business model and is actually looking to further the expansion of our fan base

Just imagine even more JCL's for you to get annoyed about

WHAT'S THAT GOT TO DO WITH IT a profits a profit

Not sure what point you are trying to make but am guessing you are using Wigan as an example of a club with no fans at the top??!!

So question for you would you like us to become a Wigan making profit with a limited following or making profit in front of 30k each week and all the additional profit that brings?

I give in you are right what we need is a stadium full of proper supporters who generate an intimidating cauldron of noise. Just like the good old days at withdean..........oh hang on a minute that had no singing and plenty of moaners as well

Bring on the JCL's I say the more the merrier

WITHDEAN?? did you go to the Goldstone ?

Yes thanks but are you suggesting withdean was filled with fans who had never been to the goldstone??!!! Or are you saying the ones who generated the atmosphere at the goldstone are JCL's who skipped withdean but are now at the Amex? In fact what are you saying and where are all these fans who generate this incredible atmosphere hiding?

Face it its a myth and once performances pick up so will the atmosphere

I'm not renewing my season ticket, and it's not because I don't want to support the Albion.I've supported them for as long as I can remember, and I'm a bit aged and creaky now.The first game I went to on my own was v Middlesboro when we lost 4-6 at home, and I'd been going with my Dad (Gawd rest him) for a couple of years before that.So I'm not a JCL,and I don't support my local League club, which is probably Exeter City.

I'm not renewing because I cannot get to the midweek games, and too many others are being time -changed,and that makes things awkward, too.I don't even want to work out what I've paid per game attended, but it is too much.So with the extra seats I'll try to get to as many games on a Saturday at 3.00 next season as there are,and still go to some of the aways. So I'll still be supporting the Albion, just not as a season ticket holder.

Message ends.
