I have an opinion based on the statements of the club.

I find it laughable that people think it's reasonable for 1901 members to be able to transfer away tickets over everyone else to be honest. Because they commit for 5 years? Well how many regular non 1901 would commit for 5 years given the option? Shit loads.
It's just a way of rewarding the rich, that suits nobody except the well off and their mates who have the opportunity to go to games without having to worry about collecting points themselves - or the risk of the actual season ticket holder getting slapped with a ban.
Absolutely no problem with 1901 holders and all the other Amex Stadium perks that come with the very expensive package, but giving them an extra benefit for away games at the expense of non 1901ers will always be a nonsense.

I wonder if there is the equal chance of 1901 guest tickets getting picked for pick up at an away ground with ID or spot checked compared to other away fans and if the chance of a ban is the same

So maybe., just maybe, you are the wrong side of the argument or at the very least just 'let it go'??
Very tedious. If you have been to a single game this season then this will make you 'rich' in the eyes of those that cant afford to go to even one. Are those that manage to afford to go to loads of away games 'rich'? I am always full of admiration for those that do but it is not a low cost pastime. Are 'ordinary' season ticket holders 'rich' because they can afford a season ticket whilst others can only afford the odd game? Should burgers be free (of course!) because some can afford them on the day but others cant? And so on and so on.....
Argue the loyalty points issue if you must but making it some form of 'them and us' inequality issue is just silly and boring.
If you focus away from the word ‘rich’ then the points made are completely valid. The whole point is that it is simply about loyalty and not having a ‘them and us’ issue….but that’s what’s in place if the Club feel that the system should be fair. It’s somewhat difficult to avoid the issue when the lines are already drawn.

That's not quite true - 1901ers as I understand it still have to hand the ticket to a nominated individual and ID may still be checked.

Yes, but if a season ticket holfer handed it over to, let's say, the person they have paid to share their season ticket with and got ID'd...

But the point is that loyalty points should go to a fan, not a seat number.

Based on the above it would suggest that a person with no previous purchase history going to an away match, because the 1901 ticket has accumulated points, is wrong.
It says ‘everyone’ being treated fairly. No them and us, just supporters.
