Excellent thanks Bozza.

This made me smile:

mportant to keep the faith, back Graham and believe in the long-term journey and progression. There will be ups and downs, bumps in the road. We can’t be hysterical when those bumps happen. Stay calm and focus on the positives.

Basically what must of us try to point out after a defeat.

Did I expect to be here for nine years? No. But there’s something about this club that gets into you and you want to keep making things better.Once it’s in your blood it won’t leave. The last nine years we’ve had far more good times than difficult times.”

I loved this:

“For me, it’s been a wonderful move. Did I expect to be here for nine years? No. But there’s something about this club that gets into you and you want to keep making things better”.

The same intangible that hooked other non-Sussex lads such as Sidwell, Aspinall and Bruno.

A special club in a beautiful part of the world.

And Swanny maybe?

Are seniors any worse off this year due to the pandemic than last year?

Who knows, each individual is different. But just prior to the pandemic, I know several were struggling to meet the cost in WSL and despite PB's arguments against it, it has always seemed iniquitous to me to not offer over 65's discounts throughout the ground.

Q: Social media - if you find out a BHAFC fan/STH has been doing this, would you name and shame them?
It’s a tricky question and we’ve discussed this internally. In some ways it may be the best deterrent, and it’s one our lawyers would have to think about.

Sorry there's no context here, what is this question referring to - if you find out a BHAFC fan/STH has been doing what?

Not sure how that can work, because club needs seats to be filled and can’t indefinitely allow someone to effectively own a seat without attending/seat doesn’t get sold on exchange. Because If you can’t afford to commit to a ST anymore, you have to relinquish and join the back of the waiting list when you can, as plenty have done/ waiting for a chance to get back in?

Hi.

I wouldn’t say indefinitely, perhaps for 2021/22? There’ll be some over 65’s who’ll still be concerned and perhaps others with a vulnerable family member, who might not be ready to take part in a mass attendance event.

That move would create a lot of goodwill amongst long term ST’ers.

Regarding demand and the ST waiting list to fill those seats, contrary to NSC speculation, PB said the list is still there. Albeit untested.

Thanks for info. Surely though a fans forum is a little pointless without Potter in attendance

God, can you imagine the utterly bone-headed micro-questions about player selection and tactics that Potter would be subjected to on a fans' forum - none of which he would be willing to answer - and nor should he.

It makes perfect sense to me that he wasn't there.

Given that 60-69 year olds are the wealthiest age group, to me it seems iniquitous to offer them any non-means-tested discounts.

Clearly there are many poor over-65s, but there are also many poor working-age people too, and they don't receive a guaranteed pension income.

Absolutely not. Asking questions about the playing operations to the chief executive is a little pointless but on the whole the questions seemed reasonably sensible (aside from the playing ones and the two ripsnorters highlighted by Guinness Boy).

Interesting to hear the remarks about the investment into the womens game. I really can't see how an investment that large can ever have any sort of significant return with the way the womens game is currently. The club obviously feel it is going to have a huge upturn over the next several years. Can't see it myself.

Thanks Bozza good read.

I was very concerned (and PB agreed with me) that the Premier League & Football League have not agreed what should happen to Clubs, so far as promotion/relegation & European places are concerned, in the event of any future season being prematurely curtailed. So we started this season, amidst the pandemic, with this issue unresolved. Luckily it very much looks like this season will be completed after all. But in a multi-million pound industry, to leave this risk not addressed is irresponsible - imagine the legal ramifications. Last season no one could have imagined the risk (although Wimbledon Tennis had the foresight), but this season?
