In this order, please: 1. Legroom 2. Comfort 3. Plain blue.

After the final squalid years of the Goldstone, the misery of Gillingham and the almighty compromise that is Withdean, I'm looking forward to us showing our real class at Falmer.

Can I have my seat something like this?

Talking to Derek Chapman recently, he made a point of asking whether I had been to MKDons' ground. 'Cos if I had, he said, I'd have a good idea of what the seating at Falmer would be like.

Please GOD NO - NOTHING should be written in seat colours, ever. It always, always looks utterly shit: what was vaguely noticable in about 1977, when I guess a lot of older wooden seats were being replaced by plastic ones, does NOT look cool in a sleek, modern work of art and fine piece of architecture like Falmer. It'd be like whacking a B&Q shed onto the side of the Gherkin. No.

I tend to agree, my picture was for ilustration purpose only, I think I favour all one colour and no text, or stripping in the seats or config to a degree.

that porto pic is the dogs bollocks innit, like you say, the right shade of blue, royal not sky and just plain, looks somehow more classy. I`d love that.

Sorry to bounce my own thread but I was thinking, what with the roof being translucent blue and the large steel girders evenly spaced I wonder whether sunlight might be projected downwards on to the seats in blue and white stripes and therefore the seats might be pure white?

Does that make any sense? In my head it does!
